Hey Hey
Tuesday night sitting around after some absolutely delicious swedish meatballs that christian made from scratch. So much better than ikea ones!
When we headed into town yesterday we said goodbye for now to Gez n Jo at the bus terminal. They caught the bus to Oslo (Norway) and then went from there to the slopes 160km away. Heard from them last night and they arrived about 11 last night. Libs and I didn't get up to too much whilst in town. Explored a bit more and went to the tourist info centre to get some brochures on some things we might like to do. Afterwards we headed to the supermarket on the way home and purchased supplies to make chicken parmas and anzac biccies. They turned out pretty good, anzacs are a bit weird as they don't have golden syrup here, or that we could find. So we used cane syrup and some other syrup. They're still decent though.
Watched a movie with Asa, Chrisitian and Matilda after T and hit the hay. Today Matilda was home sick as she was sent home from childcare yesterday so Christian was home looking after her. Libs and I offered to look after her but Christian said he could work from home. Didn't get up to too much today either, got up around 10 and had breaky. Bummed around for a bit with Matilda n Christian. Headed out around 12ish and went to a Park on the outskirts of the city, Slotsvagen from memory. It was huge and it's like a zoo in a park sorta thing. Weird but was really cool. They had elk/moose, reindeer, penguins, sheep, gotland goats, mountain goats, plenty of ducks/birds and these crazy chickens that are coloured like cows. It was -8 or so today so quite cold, we were rugged up too but it was still so cold on our faces. The ponds in the park were frozen but they had spa bath sorta things in the middle of them so all the ducks were huddled in the various spa/warm parts of the ponds hehehe.
We spent and hour or two there and then headed back indoors nearby and had some lunch before heading back home.
Having done so much in paris and london it's really nice to just bum around for a bit and not do too much with our days here. Good to spend time and see the family as well and just have some down time. Will probably head out a bit earlier tomorrow and go to this big ass science museum they have which should be good. Might even make it to the volvo mueseum tomorrow or thursday much to libs delight haha.
Asa's putting Matilda to bed at the moment, Christians at soccer training. We might watch a movie or might call it a night soon, we'll see. Not sure what we're doing when we leave sweden. We've researched amsterdamn and it's not too expensive to get there from paris by train and stay there for 3 nights. We're also contemplating going to thailand early as it'll be cheaper, money is slowly getting low. We'll see, either way i'm not too fussed. Had an absolute ball so far and we're only just over half way through the trip. We're going to call the airlines later on tonight and see how much it would be if we decided to change the flights.
Not much more to update at the moment. Apparently Ralph has a infected foot, not cool, so i asked the guys to get mum to take him to the vet tomorrow. Hoping it's nothing too big and/or expensive. Poor b*****. Not really missing home all that much, missing the family of course and Ralph and the mates i guess haha. Also missing driving, was offered to drive Sandra's (aunties) car here but I don't really feel to comfortable as the roads are really slippery at the moment.
Also in the process of applying for thesis groups at the moment. Hoping to get into a group doing there's on "subjective well being (happiness basically) but they got back to me and the supervisor said i need to attend a meeting this week (which is a tad hard). So i've applied for a few others but am still hoping to get into the first one. Well that's it for now, Happy australia day to you aussies for thursday =]

San and Jul Found it now. Glad you are enjoying time with Christian, Åsa and Matilda. Seems strange you being there when I am not there. Volvo museum is interesting ( but I guess I am biased) . Jul is at work and she will take Ralph to the vet once she finishes. I spoke to Britta and she is looking forward to seeing you when Johanna returns from the north. I am having a great time with your darling mother and sister.
