Canada's World Tour
i have arrived in Cochin. train got in at 12, it is now twenty past four and i have seen everything but one of the sights i had planned. the only thing left, traditional Kathkali dancing, doesnt start for another few hours so i am just killing time. I have booked a seven hour excursion into the back waters for tomorrow, it was the cheapest way of seeing them for me. to spend two days on one of the house boats was WAY over my daily budget. So the day after that i am hopefully going down to Trivandrum for a few days before my flight. knowing my luck i will see all that i want to in the first few hours there as well! oh well ce la vie! I am looking forward to Singapore quite a bit now. when i was waiting for my train last night i met a few seasoned travellers that said if india was the 1950's, Singapore was 2006 and then some. it will be nice to be somewhere new also. India has been absolutely amazing, but i was definately glad that i met some friends on the first night, i think that let me get into the swing of things gently and thereby enabling me to go it alone. Perhaps i will post again from Trivandrum but if not, next stop, Singapore!
