With Christmas and another successful Housesit behind us, we have said goodbye to family and the Tweed area to find ourselves at the beautiful spot called Darlington Park. While we were at Varsity, we went on a Whale Watching cruise out of Southport. This is our second whale watching trip and I'm again left a little bit (unreasonably) disappointed.The boat and staff were great, the weather was good and we did see some whales but as we all know they live under the ocean and we didn't get to see too much of them above it performing their antics as we would have liked. We are now doing our house sit at Varsity Lakes, for the people who heard of us through our last sit at Robina. After 7 weeks at Robina and 4 days back in the van we are now here for 5 weeks while the owners are in the States.This is their first holiday in 3 years as they haven't been able to leave the dogs before. Either time is going quicker or I am getting slack at writing this blog. The periods between seem to be getting longer. Admittedly we do seem to have been kept busy and have been working to a plan these last few months. Our time in both Robina and the Tweed area has now sadly come to an end, where we enjoyed our housesit and looking after Gabby and Poppy, the two Tibetan terriers. We had a good routine going, with a long early morning walk for the dogs who behaved beautifully for us, before returning home where I groomed them while Chris cooked their breakfast of fried egg on biscuits.
