Ok...so lets update you all!! Hairspray was amazing and performed at such a high standard! the dancers were immense and i found myself bopping along!!! So that was one action packed day!! the next i decided to do the same and use my bus tour ticket, went to the observatory of the empire state building and took lots of photos of the views ofNY! is definately something worth doing as everything in NY is so high rise it is the only way to see it properly!! But most of you know that as you've already been!! Also headed to ground zero, as soon as i got there i got goosebumps and started to well up, it really is an eerie place and i almost felt wrong taking photos and being a tourist round there because its i don't feel it should be a tourist spot!! onwards and upwards.. well actually south, i boarded the staten island ferry and took in the sights of the statue of liberty (only one photo though i'm afraid as camera then died!). I then went to a bodies exhibition, which was absolutely fascinating! It was an exhibition of everything within in our bodies from vessel form to bones and organs-and it was real bodies from people that donate themselves to medical research, who had been preserved scientifically for the exhibition! got a souvenir book so i can share it with all fellow pe specialists-photos would be cool for teaching kids!
Was exhausted after all that so grabbed some food and crashed and burned in the hostel! getting food i had a blonde moment! order a chicken pizza, asked for medium and then when i got my change realised i had bought a medium pie pizza, which have the diameter of a metre-no lie!! after pleading with guy making the pizza's i changed my order and got a slice!!! that was still the size of a small pizza uk style!!
8/10/07 jus chilled today taken it nice and easy, i'm aching from power walking everywhere-mooched into tiffany's, anyone want to buy me jewellery from there??? i'll love you forever??? also frequented bloomingdales, apple mac store and grand central station! Then went to observe the columbus day celebrations!! all the italian americans were lining the street with their flags along with all tourists including myself and NYers not working i guess!!! fact: columbus' mum lived in NY-might explain why they celebrate the day! tonight going to see what the hostels comedy night has in store!!
tomorro i'm heading for new jersey! watch this space! hope all are well! thank you for the messages so far! x x
