We didn't spend much time in Flagstaff, AZ but it seemed like a really cool place to live. We woke up and started our route to the Grand Canyon. The way there was the most amazing ride. It didn't look real! But that didn't even come close to what I saw when I got out of the car at Grand Canyon National Park. It was breathtaking!!! Both Brittany and I could not believe our eyes. And there are no safety rails or guards to keep you from FALLING over the edge. I thought I was being a dare devil…lol.. and I walked out on a rock that was hanging on the edge of the Canyon and all of a sudden I got dizzy…and my knees starting shaking. So I had to sit down for a minute. It was strange! I can't explain the feeling you get when your standing one foot away from plummeted thousands of feet to the bottom of a canyon. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the Canyon. And the pictures don't even give it justice, it is so much better then it looks. It was an amazing experience, the only thing that Britt and I were upset about was that we saw no wildlife anywhere. A few birds flew by every now and then but we wanted a moose to jump out in front of us or something. After the Grand Canyon we left for Vegas but had an unexpected stop along the way. We didn't know we were going to drive right through the Hoover Dam! As we drove through the mountains that surround the Dam we could see glowing lights miles and miles away shining up into the sky. Then as we came down from one of the mountains we saw the Vegas lights. It was ridiculous! So after a long day of driving we are at the Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada…wish I could write more but the casino is calling my name…..
