Time finally came for Jenny and I to leave for our little adventure! After a slightly emotional goodbye we made our first friend in Dixons at Heathrow... probably one of the most forward shop assistants ive ever met; after asking how big it was (the camera charger) he winked at me and went on to tell me I shouldn't ask these things. We then got on the plane and prepared for the 13 hour journey. Here we made a new pal who I can't remember the name of oops.. He was going to Sydney to celebrate his 40 year anniversary with his wife! Maybe we will bump into them later on. 3 films 3 magazines and a lot of food later we were met in Singapore by a friend of my mums, Maxine. Max should be a tour guide, in the space of a few hours it feels like we have seen the whole of Singapore. I have never seen so many designer shops in one place, Louis V has it's own Island dedicated to their largest store which was news to me. After exploring the first posh bit we went to China Town. Amazing place! Such a busy market full of Chinese New Year decorations and a lot of weird looking food. We went to a Chinese temple and saw some real Buddhist monks! We sat down to eat at one of the many restaurants as we both needed some energy after not having a lot of sleep on the plane. Best Chinese food I've ever had in my life, however we now both feel like Buddha himself. Our last stop has been Clarke Quay, overlooking a river with loads of restaurants and bars.. Apparantly this is the place to go out though tonight me and Jenny have decided to be boring and get an early night, flight to Darwin tomorrow at 10! Thought I'd start this now so hopefully I carry it on throughy Australia, ill put photos up as I get them and will try keep it understating! Lotta love x
