Ahoy guys
On the home straight now with this course, I've passed everything and just need to do a moderation interview with a guy from Oxford Trinity (the peopel who will be issing my cert.
The past week has been really stressful but cool as well. There was a corvette rally the other week outside my window. Must of been over 100 of them revving and speeding off...
We went the Zoo on saturday, was a mission to get there, 3 trams and a bus, (i din;t pay on any...they have a very trusting public transport here!)It was a good laugh as we got to go up and down on this chair lift (i'll post the pics) that was wortth the visit alone. It was a bit dodgy tho, all you had was a little chain to keep you in....
On saturday night we sat off in the old town square and had some ice cream and then got approached by some guy who had a six seater bike for hire. (I'll post pics and vid soon) it was the coolest 15 min on a bike I've ever had, we took of a speed round street corners and down towwards the ribver ...with all six of us pedalling hard!
Sunday we went to a transit/prison camp in Terezin (50km NW of Prague) where a lot of jews and gypies etc were put whilst in transit to the big camps in the east (auschitz etc...) It used to be a prison that held prisoners before the war, prob the most famous was the serbian student (and his mates) who assaninated Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which set off WW1 and some argue WW2. It was set in a really weird town...very back water and desolate. Full of 'interesting' people...haha.
I'm kinda happy to have got through all this study and now can focus on enjoying muself a bit more in India & Nepal...
Anyhow, hope to see some of you (all) soon...when I'm back in Liverpool for a few days before I fly out to India on the 18th August.
I'm gonna create an pic album with misc pics that I should have included in other ones as well, so watch this space...
Chou
Pete
