...I go to the dive shop and meet Jorge, a technical cave instructor and today's guide for the cenote trip...we pick up some excellent sandwiches on the road...we drive to the site, pay the fee and gear up. Then we dive the Pit, an enormous open cenote, which cannot be compared with anything I have done before. ...I dive again and manage to take some decent pictures at last...I am surprised to find out there's an alcohol selling ban in place between 6pm and 9am in all shops here.
