Butch's Detecting Log
McDonald Park is a regional park in East Tucson that I had seen a year or two ago. It has lots of things to do there, softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, pet area, and lots of pavilions for picnics. It is very busy during weekends, and the playgrounds are usually infested with "rug rats", so I had to get there early in morning to beat the rush. As it was, finds were scarce in the play area, so I moved to perimeter of the park under some shade trees. I got a hit on the detector with a +83 reading at 1" depth. Found 3 one dollar coins and a quarter in the same spot. $3.25 for a half hours' work.
