First stop today, Safeway Dublin for donuts for morning tea, then back down to San Jose to negotiate a deal for the pickup. By the time we had organized a truck to pick it up and deliver to the shipper in San Francisco and payment, it was mid afternoon and we were back on a very congested freeway to organize paperwork with them. Made it just before closing time, 5pm, haven't even had time to eat our donut through the day!! Visited the local Macca's to ring home and have a quick dinner before getting back on the road, after another gas stop ($3.97pg), to San Jose to see a Harley that has taken Mick's fancy. After making another friend in the US, once he knew we were Aussie's and we knew of Mick Doohan and Casey Stoner talked for another two hours. Checked into our motel in Morgans Hill south of San Jose at 10pm. A very, very long busy day. NB. If this is spring, wouldn't want to be here in mid summer, perfect day 26 celsius and absolutely beautiful.
