Well we will start by saying sorry its been a very long time since the last update but as most of you know we are in the mountains with no connection with the outside world. Today we have been released back into society as George has a meeting down in Jindabyne. Its very strange as its only half an hour down the mountain but there is no snow here and there are cars and lots of shops around so we are on sensory overload!
Ok so basically the story goes we left Sydney in May and got the train back to Melbourne where we rented a small studio flat in St Kilda near the beach. We were there for about a month and spent most the time drinking as you will see from the pictures it was a good month we were with Big and Little Doddy, Charlotte, and Aaron. We took the greyhound on June 20th upto Canberra then to Jindabyne, where George met and drove us up to the lodge 'Peer Gynt'. Ever since then our days have gone something like this. Start work 7am one of us does housekeeping the other serves breakfast, usually we are finished by 10am then the rest of the day is ours until we start back at work again for dinner at 6pm. We have it pretty easy although we work 7 days a week we have all day to snowboard and there really is nothing else to do other than ski or board which is good as it means we can work off all the food we eat at the lodge - cooked breakkie every morning and 3 course meal every night. So we have become quite good at boarding over the weeks and have finally mastered not falling over every other minute, the bruised bums are healing and we are moving up to harder slopes. The lodge is really cosy, George and Eilleen are lovely and a pleasure to work for, and the guests have been really friendly and we have made a few good friends who we hope to visit after we leave. So far our plans for the future are to head upto Queensland and be tourists again then over to New Zealand and back to Asia. Not much else to tell but hope the pics say it all.
Love and Miss you all
