Cuba - More than old cars
Had a bit of late morning start for the remainder of our drive to Penticton. Decided to go via the Coquihalla Highway which is the fastest route. Will take the alternative route when we drive back to Vancouver in a couple of weeks. Would normally expect to see some snow on the higher hills but the warm weather has taken care of that.
The next few days have been spent catching up with Bruce's mother and one of his brothers who also lives in Penticton.
Weather has been very pleasant with one day reaching 29.
Leaving for a bit of a road trip on Thursday

Roger & Nanette Hi Bruce & Anne. Please give mum a big hug from us. Weather has now turned cold, however we have turned the corner. the shortest day has gone Roger & Nannette
Gael Really? Wow!
Gael Yeah right! Haha!
Gael Could do with 29 degrees here for a change; it's been pretty miserable for the last week - rain, damp, mist - and cold. Lap it up while you can! Green with envy!
roslyn1234 Very nice outlook
Allison Great view Sitting drinking mulled wine that we have just made, was only 15 degrees today, so we felt cold! Mmm it's delicious.
Allison Sorry the ?? Was a smile icon that got converted!
Allison Beautiful

Lesley David and Sallyanne would find that very handy!!!!!
Sarah What amazing wild life, the beautiful deer & Osprey, & right on her door step. The veiw from her home is quite something too. Glad your having good weather, have fun on the road xx
Lesley Just back from Merimbula. Very pretty place, lovely beaches but very quiet this time of year. Obviously a summer holiday place and we were 2 months too soon for whale watching. Had a fantastic apartment really suitable for the wheelchair and did lots of walking, eating and drinking and did a serious jig saw puzzle. Its 81/2 hours from Sydney so a long drive. A good break. Love Lesley and David
