We arrived at ST. Augustines, because of the long drive we got to our Hotel late. So we got ready and went out to the restaurant. We went to barnacle bills. Mum said we went her last time but I don't remember it. There were loads of people there, so they told us it would be a long wait. We were seated in 20 minutes time which was good. Mum, Maia and I had clam chowder and dad had sea food plater. We were stuffed after that. We walked to the ghosts and gravestones. It was really spooky cause it was dark. They also sold tickets to the ghosts tours in the middle of the day. Why would anyone go on a ghost tour in brood daylight? What is the fun in that? Anyway the ghost tour was good. The first thing we came to was the old jail. This is where all the prisoners were kept years ago. When we pulled in I spotted someone in a black and white striped uniform in the top window. When we stopped the man told us about the sailors who landed here and how the king said to them "if you want to live a nice life here you have to believe in the my religion." The sailors said "no" so they were taken to the river and there throats were cut. When the ghost hunters were in the prison they picked up a ghost trying to communicate with them it said " there were only 8". The ghost hunters did some research and found out that there were only 8 sailors that had there throats cut. There were loads of stories like that. The next day we set off for our house which didn't take long. When we got there David, Nicola, Zack and Jacob were not there they had gone to see the fire works. I was glad to back in our home, but the road trip was great I felt like my holiday was over but it had only just begun. I am making a blog folder on just our Florida home so once in a while I'll add some to our Florida home blog so keep looking at the blog.
