Didnt like this method of teaching the foals at all! they had to give in to pressure by stepping forward & then you had to quickly release the tension on the rope to teach it not to pull back against you.The sounds it was making was horrible cos the rope was meant to cut of the airway & it seemed a hard lesson for such a youg foal! afterwards it seemed to tire out so we spent time stroking it & getting it used to being touched.
