Day 2
Late start today, had a little sleep in ( so much for my run lol )
I think I didn't sleep that well due to the bugs biting me last night :/ see the place was cheap for a reason lol
Forecast for today says more rain and thunder storms ... Goody!!! :/
We went back down to the esplanade to check out the pier , as we approached we could see the waves crashing onto the wall and spilling over onto the footpath.
There were some curious kids having a look as well and one got owned by the waves as it crashed over, his mate was heaps supportive and say there laughing at him.
We had a look at the pier which was first used in 1917 for sugar and coal, it seems to be a popular fishing spot now as it was full of keen fishermen.
This place is quiet a nice place with a touch of bogan.
Highlight of the morning, watching a kid stack his push bike in front of his family, alot of tears and a blood nose.
Classic!
