We woke up after a great night on the boat. We had arranged last night that breakfast at 8.30am would suit us. So we got ready and packed our bags because we would get back at 9am to get off the boat. We sat out before breakfast to take in the peaceful morning, we were then served omelette, toast, watermelon, pineapple and bananas for breakfast. We then sat back at the front of the boat for the journey back to shore. The guy in charge of the boat had asked us yesterday where we were going next, we told him Alleppey he said we could get a tuk tuk to the train station and the train would be at 10am. As we got off the boat this morning he had told us he'd already arranged the tuk tuk so we just had at wait until 9.30am. We got the tuk tuk to the train station and were told where to get the ticket from, this involved getting down onto the tracks to cross them. James went across he came back said there were two trains one 5p each, one 19p each he wasn't sure which one so splashed out on tickets for both. We chose the 9.45am train which meant crossing the tracks with our bags. It was fine. The 9.45am train came at 10.20am probably early for Indian standards! We got on the train just in time before it set off and found a seat. It was only about a 40 minute journey but a lot cheaper than a taxi. We got off and got a tuk tuk to our next place. We dropped our bags off and as our room wasn't ready we walked around and had a look at Alleppey. There were loads of shops and it was very busy. We got back to the place and settled in our room, we chilled for the rest of the day. We got food from the place we were staying and got a good nights sleep.
