'How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard', Annie

So, the time is flying by and sadly the goodbyes are starting!This weekend was the first one, and quiet potentially the strangest!

The fancy dress theme was countries, with me sporting the best of British as a Beefeater…the costumes were something to behold.Liv raped and pillaged her way around Canal Street as a Viking, Matt was a one man living tribute to Alf Roberts and all things Australian!Aaron was like the Van Trapp family on acid…..sporting Lederhosens and German sausage!!

The night started off as all the best nights do at Homo Heights with drinks and bizarre drinking games including The Grand Old Duke of York and my all time favourite The Vegetable Game…..TEEEEEFFFF!!!Already feeling a little bit worse for wear we headed into town looking like a group of extras from Blackadder.

First stop was Napoleons…..the tranny bar!The place where chicks with d*** like to find solace amongst like minded individuals…and where we like to go to mock the men teetering around in their size 12 stilettos resembling Tina Turner circa 1988!!

From here we headed to Thompsons for £2.00 doubles and Steps dance-off's!!!I managed to get a little lost from everyone else so decided to take a seat….but got a little too comfortable…..after having 20 winks I was awakened by a bouncer and forcefully removed….oh the shame!!Bad enough if it had been the first time…..but the second time in a year….I need a minder!!

On the plus side the power nap did me the world of good…..I found my second wind and headed off to POPTASTIC….!!By now everyone else has dropped off so it was the usual suspects left out till the bitter end….Liv, Aaron and I.The details are blurry from now on but the photographic evidence seems to suggest that we spent the next 3 hours finding ugly people to mock with the highlights being a goth, a candidate for the next frizz ease advert and Aarons vertically challenged lover!!

An amazing send off from an amazing set of friends, I will miss my fag-hag status…..maybe I can find a Gay in each country to add to my collection…..a little bit like the Jollie-Pitts do with children?!
