The journey across the border was with mixed feelings. We were all very keen to get to a country which is "developed" and to travel on smooth roads and have toilets where you can put your paper down the loo. (The sewers in Bolivia can´t handle it). But at the border we sailed through, not an official in sight, and our guide got us to get our stamp at the local bus stop. Yes the Bus Stop.
He tells us there is a lot of corruption in Brazil and if you get a stamp at the official border you will have to pay a fee. Nice one. Quids in.
We travelled to Bonito where we have spent 2 nights and today we went snorkelling in a river for 2km. This time the fish were amazing. All shapes, colours and sizes....the photos do the talking.Great fun, gliding along with the current with your head in the water.
Tomorrow we are heading to another river for some zip lining and relaxing before a 12 hours bus to Iguazu Falls. Peace.
