Brenden & Jodi's Travel Adventures
Summary
Hungary is probably a country we wouldn't come back to. We weren't overly impressed with Lake Belaton, so much in fact that we didn't even stop for a look other than for lunch on the way past. Budapest is nice however, we had a nice afternoon wandering the city before having a few drinks at a bar and scoffing down about a kg of sausage and fried meat from the restaurant next door. The area above Budapest, the Danube Bend, is OK. We did a hike here one day in the sweltering heat, which was a welcome change from the cold, but the scenery wasn't really anything to write home about. In 400 km's and less than 48 hours we'd crossed over into Slovakia in search of more interesting sights.
Speedometer: 151,751 km's
