Welcome to Edinburgh Scotland, where the weather is actually worse than London.
Today we met up with our wild in Scotland crew to begin our Scottish adventure. For once Bec and I were the only Aussies on the tour which is really rare and interesting to say the least!
We started the tour by heading north to William Wallace's monument then onto the stunning Glencoe Valley and the Highlands where we heard all the rich history and battles of the Scottish past. We made a stop to meet some of the locals, three Highland cows, which Bec got pretty excited about...starting to worry about her cow obsession...thought it was a horse obsession but now starting to wonder..? Anyway ended the day by taking a fishing boat out with a local fisherman and catching some scallops which Bec enjoyed raw and cooked, apparently they were amazingggg!!! - I'll take her word for it!
All in all Scotland has been quite impressive, looking forward to Isle of Skye tomorrow!
