It was another long bus ride for us on day 40 but it was our last for a while - thank goodness for that!! As we've been to the beautiful city of Paris before we have already seen most of the main sites (climbed the Eiffel Tower, saw a cabaret show, eaten escargot & frogs legs) and so we wanted to spend some time on the left bank and hit the streets early on our first full day to do some exploring and photo taking. After wandering the streets for a few hours...

After our beautiful cooked breakfast we jumped on the bikes and hit the beach for another beach day. We decided on a traditional lunch with food from the basque region which was lovely. After lunch we went for a nice long walk around the coast, also checking out our B&W photos which were pretty good before jumping on our bikes for a nice ride back to the hostel for our last home cooked meal for a while. Day 39 we got up nice and early to catch our train back...

Arriving into Biarritz in the evening, we were showed around our cool hostel and went for a walk down to the main square on the water in search for food. I finally had my moules & frites for dinner which were mouth watering so fresh and so good and Brett had a carb free burger... with fries! On the stroll home I did some window shopping and found a hundred things I wanted but was soon redirected away from the shops and to the amazing lookout where we watched...

Today was Bordeaux exploration day so after a lovely French breakfast we hit the streets to explore this beautiful town and what a beautiful town it is!! We were dead set on hiring bikes to view the city but the stupid borris bikes only took French bank cards so we were out of luck. Ahhh the joy of sleeping in, this morning we got up a bit later then usual for breakfast to another beautiful day in Lauterbrunnen. Today we decided to go visit the beautiful waterfalls with fellow busabouters and walked the 3kms to get there. In total there are 11 waterfalls but they are all connected to one main waterfall. It's crazy as our guide told us that about 20,000 liters per second would pass through each waterfall so there you go, thats how fast the i...
