Well, its been a long time since my last update but when your out here the time passes so quick. i'l try an start were i left off...

I got to vang vieng after an 18 hr bus ride, not the best it was like being on a rollercoaster constantly, a bit like the mouse trap on in blackpool. I spent 10 days here when my plan was to spend only 5 bt i met a group of lads who i got on well with so i moved in with them and in the end didnt want to leave.The whole 10 days were basically spent waking up gettin something to eat then heading down to a river for 4 or 5 hrs, getting drunk and swinging off massive rope swings, Zip lines, and going down a slide callled the death slide. After the day at the river it was bk up to the hostels then on to Qbar or Sunset bar to carry on.. a good 10 days well spent i say. Spent christmas day here which is christmas i wont forget, everyone who was stayin in the hostels got up christmas day an helped prepare and cook the dinner which the landlady went and bought the day before, in the end they were about 30 of us sat havin a proper christmas dinner so it felt a tiny bit like christmas with an added bit of sun which wasnt a bad thing. There was about 10 of us who were goin to get a chicken and Laos 09 on one of our bum cheeks bt the tattouist couldnt fit us all in, maybe a good thing hey.

I left vang vieng on the 29th dec to go to the 4000 islands, basically little islands with not a lot to do apart from chill out in a hammock and read sayin that i did go ona day trip canooing down the river, seeing a couple of water falls and spotted some dolphins, apart from that its a place you'd go after you had been travelling for a good year, just to chill out. New Year was spent around a camp fire with 50 other people with pretty poor music, its one i wont forget, bt i wasnt too fussed cos it was jst another night, and there are plenty more night to come.

I left 4000 islands on jan 1st at 8am for another 18 hr bus journey to Siem Reap, Got there late so it was straight to bed The whole next day was spent seeing all the temples( Angkor Wat Angkor Thome, The place were a bit of thomb raider was filmed) $15 dollers for the whole day, it did get a bit same same but its a must do, or so my footprints guide told me, and it was all impressive. Food in siem Reip was really nice and the night life was jst ok many nights were spent on Pub street. I did get scammed here bt only out of a couple dollers, 2 guys came up to me sayin they had taken a cambodian girl bk the night before and when they woke up in the mornin all there money, passport etc had gone and if i could gv them $2 for some food so i did its only about 1 pound 20p, that night i seen the same 2 guys in a club gettin wasted and the nxt 3 days they were doin the same thing throughout the day, basically livin for free. ( agoood little scam if u ask me) They'l probably still be doin it in years to come

Onto Phnom penh which is the capital of cambodia i only spent 2 days here which was enough time to shoot a couple of guns an AK 47 and a Colt 45 which was pretty cool, at the end the guy said to me go and get your target at the end, not gonna lie bt when i was walkin down the man made shootin range i was thinkin please dont shoot me from behind please dont shoot me, he didnt lol few. I was gona fire a rocket launcher up in the mountains bt $350 wasnt in the budget. I got to see all the major sites including the killing fields were basically a guy caled pol pot was the main person behind killing nearly 2million in 3 years 8months and 20 days. I got on well with the Moto driver which is taxi bt on a moterbike, he was like my personal driver for the 2 days, he taught me how to play cambodian pool ( i'll teach you when i get back, i like it so i'm sure u will to) and i'm supposedly gona meet up with him when i go bk to phnom penh to go and play football with him an his mates we'll see.

Im just in southern cambodia in a place called sihanoukville staying in a hostel called Monkey Republic, payin $8 dollors a night which is expensive compared to Laos which was 3000 reil which is about 2pound 50p, lol 6 pound i'm thinkin is expensive wait till i get bk home an its 50 quid for a travel lodge bk to reality. ive only been here for 2 days bt i'm thinkin stay here for another 34 days then head to southern thialand for some more beach bumming and to do my Scuba diving.

I can see myself gettin the traveling bug, u meet so many people telling you where is good to go and you need to go here and there,basically i just want to carry on travellin for as long as i can cos everyday is so different from the next and you havnt got anyone tellin u what to do( not that i did anyway bt u know what i mean).

Hope everyone is fine back home and i cant believe i've missed all this snow, i'm proper gutted i wouldnt of minded a snow ball fight or a bit of sledgin on the gully, Missin everyone and i'll speak to u soon love me xxx
