In case you were wondering, I can confirm Dora is just as irritating in French as she is in English. Gab had us packed up and down at breakfast early this morning before we head to Gare Du Nord for our Eurostar to London. Max has taken to "London Baby" somehow, it's a crime now to say one without the other.
At the hotel by lunch, we headed for a long unintended stroll for 3km carrying our laundry, we kept asking people where a launderette is, everyone just kept pointing further down the road. By the end we asked Google instead and our clothes spinning 10 minutes later. Lovely lazy lunch and coffee in the Café while the washing got done. Then off to Harrods!
Check the photos we found some awesome stuff - from the water bottle safes in the spy shop, the one man submarine harness, the electric kids cars, the wall of pokemon toys that had Max catatonic to the giant Harrod's bears that each deserved a photo.
Over to southbank we got ourselves up onto the London Eye for a night time view of the city. On the way though, bang there's Big Ben, Max explained Big Ben is the bell inside, not the actual clock! Past the Abbey and we were there. We did it at night time to take in the lights - brilliant display. On the way home we crossed past the palace, a bit surreal. London Baby!
Tomorrow we're posting off everything we've discovered we don't need these past two weeks, perhaps the big bus tour, then lunch at Dinner by Heston tomorrow, ohhh!
