So we reached the furthest northerly point in New Zealand at Cape Reinga. It was a very windy day and there had been a storm the previous evening so the winds were really strong. It was a lovely place to go.
We then travelled back down and went to a Kauri forest and saw some of the famous Kauri trees which are the biggest trees that I have ever seen before......they are so vast and now there is only 3% of the population left.
We have also booked some tickets to watch a rugby game in Whangerei this Sat 12th June. New Zealand Mauri All Blacks Vs New Zealand Barbarians. We are both soooo excited and we are going to treat ourselves and have a night in a B&B too! Wooohhhaaayyyy!
Anyway we have done tons more than we can remember and will post some pics really really soon!
