So just a quick update on what has been happening over the last few weeks. Work has been going really well and I am now the Sous Chef at The Royal Mail hotel, I have been running services, and putting dishes on the menu, so all is well on that front. We have now brought ourselves a car, which is great and makes life easier.

Beckie has been tending the garden, trying to get our grass to grow as it has turned to straw over the summer. Keeping busy with furniture hunting and job hunting. She may have a job lined up at the Hotel on Reception which would be great. Recently she has spent some time with Robin and Jeremy's Wife (Head Chef and Sommelier)

Last week week a few of us got together for some beer and we cooked up a BBQ, and then played Poker in the evening. Beckie kicked our asses! Considering she didn't know, or want to know how to play until a few weeks ago she has done well.

Jonas will be leaving us at the end of February to go onto Sydney so we are looking forward to having our own house to ourselves again.

Future plans at the moment; we are moving our things from the UK to here and possible buying a property in 6-8 months. The interest rates on mortgages and the deposit percentages are not as high as the UK system. We could get a huge place here for the same price as a garden shed in Croydon.
