Brenton Kovacs's Travels
We have just completed another day of sightseeing. You certainly need to be fit to be a tourist in London. We both climbed the 330 stairs of the Monument, and the 600 odd stairs of St Pauls Catherderal. Both offered a rewarding view. The main tourist attractions have been worth the effort.
Today we also visited the Natural History Museum and Albert Hall, Hyde park and so on. Then we walked Oxford, Bond, Piccadilly streets. Harrods was very interesting, especially the food court.
The weather has been ok. There has been spells when it has rained, but we are in London.
It is certainly a busy abd exciting city, with a lot on offer. Our hotel is right on the Thames river, so we are very close to all the attractions. Our only dissapointment is not being allowed to use a camera in the Catherdral.

Adrya Oh the Cathedral is magnificent. I bet it was stunning inside! It looks huge! This is the best part of Europe - all those historical buildings. The street scape certainly looks like London - albeit a bit cleaner, but always raining. I don't think I saw the sun when I was there. The hanging lights in the street look like large jelly fish. It must be great at night.I have to say I am a bit partial to modern art - I truly enjoyed the chrome balls.Keep the pictures coming....
