Today i am off to Killarney. It is the start of the Ring of Kerry Road, plus it also has the Killarney National Park. Its only a short drive, about 100ks. Nothing really exciting along this road. Woke to a very cloudy early morning. Slept well but only till 6am. It is still light at 11am and first light is around 6am, so not much time for darkness. From today i am travelling by car, driving around the coast of Ireland. My accommodation for the next 2 weeks is my newly purchased tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, pillow. I flew out of Denver at 10am. As usual i did not sleep much at all the night before, maybe got 2 hours sleep. Up at 6am to get ready.
