Happy St Patricks Day!! We booked onto a 'party bus' for tonight, loadsa people doing it so we thought it would be rude not to join in! Didn't do a lot in the day, just caught up on emails etc, then started drinking pretty early! Another day of mooching around, we were going to go to the lagoon this afternoon but its rainy season and so it rained. We went to the cinema instead to watch Hot Fuzz, which is excellent! Reminded me of England!! I got the time confuzzled though and we strolled in at 3pm halfway through the film, our showing wasnt until 4pm! oops! back to the hostel, met Emma and Gustav, some Swedish people Eddy and Tom know from Alice Springs, they're cool! Woke up today at 8am so that i could go for a swim before we had to check out, just to get my moneys worth!! Nice pool. Checked out and checked into Shenannigans, just around the corner, which is a much more wallet friendly $17 a night :-) Went a wandering today, I was trying to find a medicare office to register, ended up going to somewhere called Earlville only to find theres one in Cairns Central...doh! Got some groceries, had a wander round the old shoppin...
