All's well in the world. Queensland won last night State Of Origin so the locals are flying their flags proudly today and they would even have a pretty good case to claim this area of their state as one of the most scenic in the country if not the world (IMHO)
Pictures do not do it justice. You will notice the number of panoramas I included today and they do not really tell the story. Quaint little towns, grass so green on rolling hills you think that there is something wrong with your eyes. Beautiful lakes with free camping sites around them in pristine areas, rain forests with lovely drives through them on well kept gravel roads. Fresh fruit and veg on sale roadside everywhere, every town seems to have an old coffee shop/book/trinket shops that keeps the ladies quite occupied for hours whilst the blokes marvel at the old timber pubs that seem to have remained unchanged for ever
Apparently the climate in sumer lacks the heat and humidity of the coast and in winter it seems to be sunny until the clouds roll in over the nearby hills about 3pm with temps topping out around 22c
I must be missing something though, everthing seems to be for sale. Maybe its not paradise but you would be hard pushed to find a better candidate !!
