Thursday 27th January
We had a long long sleep because of the previous days exertions, however we did not let fatigue deter us from going to see the Hollywood sign as well as Hollywood Boulevard. We had to get two buses from our hostel on Venice beach just to get to the district of Hollywood ( Los Angleles btw is stupidly big, too big may we say). Boob and Billy the new accomplice decided to climb up the hill to get close to the Hollywood sign. Wardy stayed at the bottom due to his chronic knee problem and Chewy decided to do his own thing which included getting chatted up by a black transsexual called Vance. First night out in L.A. brought about an interesting set of results generally positive.
Friday 28th January
A relaxing day followed which involved a day at Venice beach along with new Kiwi friend Tom and another Aussie called Kyle ( there has to be more Aussies outside of Australia than in it). This was pretty much it before retiting back to the hostel with a subway and beer in hand. A footlong subway over here costs 5 dollars; amazing and the equivalent of £3.50.
P.S. Late on Friday evening Boob was dealt a bitter blow to the soul; his beloved and iconic hero Fernando Torres handed in a transfer request. Both Wardy and Christian witnessed Boob's face descend into a empty white space with no emotion and expression. We have never seen a man so crushed or emotionally drained.
Saturday 29th January
To be honest were not that mad with L.A. ( Liam you were right on this occassion). We originally intended to go to Universal Pictures but due to drink and the time it would take to get there and back, we saw no point in wasting money which could be better spent somewhere else. We walked up to the beach to Santa Monica which was a short 25 minute commute and did some retail therapy with an Israelite :) called Noga. She hates Jews and Gays and didn't take kindly to Chewy's comments about Palestine experiencing a raw deal. On the other hand, she was a nice girl who was one of the few Israelites not driven by money. Anyways, we are going to settle down to watch Andy Murray in the Aussie Open final, were hoping for a first Great British Grand Slam victory in 75 years.
P.S. How about the Villa, 3 from 3 and bring on United. Peace out, Ward!
P.P.S. Up the Wolves ( I know its hard bearing in mind the predicament we find ourselves in).

Carol Never mind Tim there must be other players out there as good as or better than Torres! I know you'll be devastated but he won't give his best if he doesn't want to be there. (I know-what do I know?!). Murray disappointment too and the cricket! Great blogs again! I wonder if Fiji is ready for you...... Mum xx
suzanne Just shows that all he is in it for is money - no surprise there then, probably needs to bump up his off shore funds. No one is wiorth £50,000,000. Anyway glad you are all safe and well and that you are having a good time. Will forward details fo my friend who is now back in NZ. love and hugs Suzannex and Geoffx
susan hi all, seems like youre having a great experience over there. Andy Murray after his defeat says he needs and wants a break from tennis. Hip hip hooray. James i hope you are taking some of ASDA special neurofen tablets! They are anti inflamatory. Start taking them and you will soon be mountain climbing and running marathons. LOve to you all x x x
