Sunday afternoon I moved in with my Tico family (host family) and we headed off to a fiesta - their friend's birthday party. Complete with way too much food, pinatas and dancing. Even had a bunch of 6 - 8 year olds beat me badly at soccer - they thought it was so funny!

Started classes on Monday and right away really liked the professora and the other students. All sorts of backgrounds and a few of them have even done the same thing I have - quit their careers to travel!

My Tico family is great. Mama Fabiana y Papa Adrian, hijos: Fabiola (13), Adriana (8) y Adrian (7). There are at least 4 other relatives that I think live in the house but I'm not sure? The papa left early Monday morning and I still don't understand where he is or when he's coming back? Nobody is worried so it must be OK. There is a complete language barrier but we've had fun. Monday went through tons of photos and Tuesday night we danced around the house to Spanish pop music.
