Encarnacion, Paraguay
Hello there!! Welcome! So i am determine to properly document the last few months of my Year of Service here in Paraguay. What can i say. I am starting to grow really attached to this little town. I guess after being here so long i grown fond of it. It id my home and has been for the last 9 months. I have grown so much since i arrived in January. I am very impressed and satisfied with my spanish. It has improved tremendously. A lot has happened in the past few months . I got a chance to visit home for 2 weeks in June. Met an amazing girl, who i am crazy for, my partner decided to go back home, so i am now flying solo, the kids that i work with here have stolen my heart and i know when it time to part ways it going to be one hard goodbye. on to other news:
I got a chance to go visit and explore argentina about two weeks which was awesome. I only got to explore a small part of it. Simone (my traveling partner) went to the house of two bahais who live in a small town called San javier which is on the border of Argentina and Brazil. After that we went to the National Festival of Immigrants in a nearby city of Obera. It was awesome. They had ethnic groups from all over Europe and some in Latin America. It was call to be in a different country and see a different aspect of life. To me Argentina is very much like United States , i'm not sure why but it reminded me very much so of it. well that was a lot of fun! Until tomorrow my friends!
