Currently in Queenstown having had an action packed week.
As I said before we went White Water rafting in Rotorua down grade 5 river which was a tad scary. We also visited the Wai O Tapu thermal wonderland area which is incredible. Lots of sulphur caves and collapsed craters as well as bubbling mud pools - really cool to see.…

We have finally decided to get a travel blog up and running to update everyone - (yes I realise we have in fact already left)! This stuff may end up being emailed too but the action packed fun thus far means emails are not all that frequent ...therefore BLOG!!

Your Great grandmother, Dot Eslick, did a round the world trip in the ltes 50s or early 60s - by ship. She stopped off in Rotarua. The slides of her trip must be with Glen Eslick in Durban. Maybe we should try to unearth some of them so that you can compare them with your trip.

Just read your two entries and laughed so much I nearly spat my tea all over the screan!! I am vv jealous, but I go off in just over a month yay! Sounds like you're having an amazing time.
