Hi all, looks like your first few days have been exciting, hope your not to jet lagged. have a cocktail for me and uncle Dave. The weather here is pretty bad, lots of rain over the last few days. Tom has had a wonderful time in Lapland lots of snow and he has been riding reindeer and then he went to eat them, he said they were very tasty. He is snow in Spain sking and we are looking forward to seeing him at the weekend. LOL all the Easthams

hey. yes the drinks were alcoholic, thats the best way for them to be. we have all brought trainers, actually me and ben have as iv just been informed by gemma that she hasn't got any. might be a slight problem!! we should be ok becuase you can rent them from the travell company when you get there. The Aqua bar was lovely and the drinks were great!!! thanks for the tip. although it would have been nice to have the champagne cocktails everynight we just can't afford it so we may have to down grade lol. hope everyone is well and we will speak soon. love to all x x x

Hi - have just had a look at your new pictures - I hope the drinks weren't alcoholic!!!???!!! It looks as though you are enjoying yourselves. Have you managed to find anything edible yet? I know how fussy you are Kate! Have spoken to Karl tonight - believe it or not he is cooking fish! I have been looking at the tours you are doing - I think you may need to get some walking boots/shoes of some description - I don't think flip-flops will be any good on a glacier in New Zealand!!

If you want cheap bars check out The George, 38-44 D'Aguilar St, Lan Kwai Fong and some of the others in that area. They usually have a ladies night Tues/Weds when Vodka + mixer is free for the girls. Warning though, these places are nowhere near as classy as Aqua but you can't have champagne cocktails every night!!

If you go out to aberdeen for a day trip and take in Ocean Park you should find some decent chinese food otherwise you're best sticking to veggie restaurants as you don't have to guess which part of the animal you're eating or stick to western food!
