Home sweet home!! Made it home safely after a long, 22 hour journey yesterday. The flights themselves were pretty smooth. However our flight from Heathrow was delayed an hour, causing us to miss our connecting flight in Philadelphia. We probably could have made it, but the lines through customs and security were unreal. Visited The Making of Harry Potter Tour and Exhibit at Warner Bros. Studios this morning. Got to see the actual sets and sound stages they used for all 8 movies. They also had thousands of props and costumes used throughout the films. We thought it was pretty cool and we got some fun pictures of us on the sets (Michael and Casey will definitely be jealous). Good Evening! We toured Westminster Abbey first thing this morning. It was even more impressive from the inside. Only wish we could have had more time there. We then headed to Wimbledon and the All England Club. Another definite highlight from the trip. Good evening! Toured Kensington Palace and Kensington Gardens this morning (future home of Wills & Kate in case you didn't know;). Both the palace and the gardens were beautiful. Fun side note, found a family from Plattsburgh to take our picture outside the gates there. This afternoon we took the tube to St. Paul's Cathedral and Shakespeare's Globe. Today was our bus trip out to the English Countryside. Our first stop was Windsor and Windsor Castle. Beautiful town set just outside London. It's set up on a hill, with the castle at the top overlooking both the town and countryside. Got to tour the Castle grounds and some of the interior.
