Hello everyone. Still having the time of our lives. Just had four enjoyable days at sea (sorry three, we crossed the international dateline on the 26th and went from Tuesday to Thursday overnight) We had a great party on deck to mark the occasion - lasted half a day, we had lovely weather and entertainment included a rock group (top class), games and a competition: Neptune's team against the Captain's. Ended in water fights and custard pie throwing. Trust us to end up getting covered in the stuff. It was hilarious from start to finish.
Today we are in Auckland, a very impressive city; the weather is perfect' We have had a bus tour of the city and caught a ferry to Waikeh Island, about 30 minutes sailing. We then took an explorer bus around the island which was breathtaking. We are now having a look at Auckland on foot. We'll not forget the places we have seen here and we are very impressed with our introduction to New Zealand. Taurango tomorrow, then a day at sea before arriving at Wellington.
Keep the messages coming - we look forward to them.

Pete Edwards As I lounge in the Sauna at the Spirit Health Club at Haydock, I can close my eyes and think I am in New Zealand, Samoa etc, but no Captain's dinner awaits just 2 boiled eggs and soldiers; no scenery except the busy nearby M6, so enjoy what you have whiilst you can and don't gettoo used to the luxury - home awaits!!
