We arrived at DFW 2 hours prior to departure like good travelers to discover a line a mile long for check in. It took an hour and 15 minutes but I was very patient (shocking isn't it). It was a quick trip from Corpus to San Antonio. The Admiralty RV park was nice with well spaced sites and cement slabs. They even showed us to our site and helped us with positioning. The park was pretty well located for us to visit the city and actually right across the street from Sea World (which we didn't visit). First, Happy Belated Thanksgiving! Our Thanksgiving dinner was a potluck at the clubhouse in the RV park. The park provided 3 different styles of Turkey (baked, smoked and fried) and a Ham. After the excitement of the Lone Star Rally, we settled in to our first "destination" of the trip and just in time for the Big Freeze of 2014. We were happy to be south of Dallas when the cold weather hit. The trailer was quite comfortable and the private Hot Tub that came with our site got plenty of use. Houston required a LOT of driving. Although we liked the park we stayed at (having a river front site helped), I should have paid a little more attention to it...
