Woke up early for my first full day on camp and had breakfast before a nice 20 minute walk to the local organic farm to help with some weeding and planting. After lunch had a nice river swim.
In the afternoon had my first trail which was a Primate Behaviour Walk where we saw Squirrel and Capuchin monkeys and also a Frigatebird and Scarlet Macaw.
Later in the afternoon we had a science presentation at local Osa Research Centre to learn more about the animal we may be seeing.
After dinner we had our first night walk which gave me a chance to try out my new head torch. It had just rained which meant we saw lots of frogs and insects. Had an exciting walk back to the camp where I saw a Fer de Lance (very venomous snake) just 5 feet in front of me. They move a lot faster than you would think.
