Harry is 3 today so the excitement of our week is unwrapping presents, and then jelly & icecream for tea! Weather is unusally seasonable - minus 9C last night with at least 30cm of snow lying on the ground.
Schools are closed, so your mum is pleased, and today is the first day the roads have been clear enough to get into work, but I am not planning a full day - best to ease back in slowly I think. Shiv & Adelle were planning on coming over last night for the Christmas Market, but for the first time ever it had to be cancelled due to road/weather conditions. I went to the Wig & Mitre for lunch yesterday and there were a lot of unhappy stallholders packing up who had obviously invested a lot of time and money to no avail.
Your Gran has sent you some money for a jumper, but shouldn't think you need one where you are, but you may be grateful for it in January!

Nice blog - it was almost like being there!
Got the feeling there should have been a second part - central America, but only Cuba covered. Look forward to reading more of Shiv's travel adventures!
