Flights over Europe have been stopped for several days now due to an Iceland volcano emitting dust (too dangerous to fly). Not sure when this will change, need new wind direction
know you have weeks to go yet but do check out with mum the flight availability. Will sort out some birthday cash soon.

Please be careful as you will need a reliable mode of transport and take plenty of water and suntan cream, it is virtually a desert!! You are certainly getting around.

What do you mean you got harassed at the airport. What were they trying to do? What your valuables out there it sounds like you have to be extra aware. Hope you enjoy bali. Maybe you should stay put for afew nights so you are not trying to find a place to sleep all the time. Very slow on blog!!xxx
