Hello from Byron Bay!

We arrived here at 9.30pm on Friday night and pretty much went straight to sleep! Saturday we woke up to glorious sunshine and went exploring around the town centre before hitting the beach! A very laid-back and hippy kind of place, very chilled!! It took a day to get back into being on the road again but we are absolutely loving it! Sunday we had a 3 hour surf lesson booked which was brilliant! They guarantee you will stand up on your first session....and yep we done it! Even have the photo's to prove it, ha! We were pretty shattered after that so got an early night! Monday morning was raining so we used that time to get things booked up on the internet before we left for an hour's walk up to the Lighthouse to catch the sun setting! An unbelieveable view, just beautiful! Monday night we ended up going out for drinks with our room-mates (three guys- one English, one French and one German all in their 20's) and really nice guy's! Needless to say that ended up with Darren feeling worse for wear Tuesday morning! ha! Today we hired out a surfboard and had some fun down at the beach! Tomorrow we leave at 9.00am to head for Surfer's Paradise! Will put our Byron Bay photo's on here a.s.a.p! xxx
