hello! Finally arrived in Koh Samui after the 11 hour train trip and 1 hour boat. Train was very interesting being 1st class. Was very good though for 20 quid, we had our own section with fold down beds and everything was kind of clean. The toilet was TERRIBLE! only a hole in the ground and the bumpiest ride ever and very smelly. Sawatdee Kaa! Have just checked out of hotel room and sitting in the gorgeous weather watching the snow in Europe on CNN. Hellooooo! Sitting here in a internet cafe next to our guest house watching the tuk tuks whizz past. Am really loving Thailand, bangkok is crazy but I like it!I feel alot safer than i thought i would, there are backpackers everywhere and everyones really friendly. Lots of tourist police too.Flight was really good, would definitely recommend Qantas for long haul- they even gave me hot choc with marshmallows in to help me get to sleep (that scores 5*s in my book!)....
