So I decided I wanted to start a blog, mostly for myself, about everything from start to finish, the ups and downs, the excitement, experiences and sacrifices of my adventure to Australia!

I've never written a blog before, in fact I haven't done any sort of writing like this since GCSE English, so I don't know how well it's going to turn out, but as long as it make sense I guess it doesn't matter too much. But you'll have to forgive my spelling and grammar, it's a bit rusty. I had to do a load of googling about blogs, different types of blogs, what sort of thing do people blog about, how to write one, even what sort of name should I have for it! So as you can tell, I don't really have a clue, haha :P But as it turns out, you can do pretty much whatever you like.

So I decided on a sort of personal travel blog, with a few other things slipped in I'm sure, called 'Knowing where one's towel is'. Hopefully everyone will get the reference! If not, some people are going think I have a strange fixation with towels...
