Monday 24th September 2012.

Well the adventure has begun, after finally completing the last minute packing and just waiting around to leave, we left Bendigo on Sunday, after booking in, then it was the inevitable customs and all that stuff, we seemed to always be in a line going somewhere, then to Duty Free shopping, Nah!! didn't do much of that, finally boarded the plane, would have been a great trip but for the screaming baby, and I really mean screaming, hardly non stop for about 4 hours, the poor airline staff were frazzled trying to help. Got into Singapore around 6.00 in the morning, then through customs/immigration again and then the fun began trying to find where to go to book into Jetstar, thank god for information booths, we had to board the airport train from terminal 3 to go to terminal 1, did you know that they don't have actual people driving them, freaky, My god Jetstar staff must be the same all over the place, we finally got booked in with hardly anytime to spare and the little booking man was telling us to hurry. The trip over to Phuket was uneventful and got through the whole process in no time. Got to our hotel and all we wanted to do was sleep, but natually as we had had hardly any sleep that was hard to come by. so just stayed in the air conditioned rooms, Darren and Tanya had planned to meet up with us later so when I went to have a shower, I noticed water was dripping out of the light fitting over the bath, so called in maintenance and the man climbed through the ceiling and eventually told us it was fixed, when we were ready to leave I noticed that there was more water on the floor, so told reception as we were leaving. had a great night with everyone and when we got back to a note in the door advising that they were unable to fix the leak and they wanted to move us, opened the door to be greeted to water everywhere, mad rush to get all our belongs out into the passage and we were finally moved to another room, Today is Tuesday 25th and after a peaceful sleep, up early down to breakfast and then onto window shopping, we were both very good and didn't buy anything, today the weather is a bit overcast and have had a few showers.
