Before I go any further I must let you know what is around us in New York, we are on 52nd street between 8th Avenue and Broadway, Broadway being where all the shows are held, playing at the moment around us is "Mamma Mia", Jersey Boys, The Lion King, Chicago, and around the corner is the old Broadway Theatre, going to breakfast the other day the streets were packed with large trucks with a lot of camera equipment and the windows of the theatre had been all taped up with black plastic, naturally we had to stop and look and finally found out they were taping "Smash" over the next 2 days we never saw any-one famous but did see a lot of crew people, it was a massive operation, they must have it down to precision timing, cause as easy as the appeared so they dissapeared.

We are within walking distance to Central Park, and in the opposerite (not spelt right) direction Times Square and then only a few streets from 5th Avenue, we seem to be within walking distance to any of the shops that are on our list.
