If we only had yesterday and today, the trip would have been worth it. I am Loving every minute being together again with my German family. Truly. We had a beautiful fruhstuck, the girls loved the red berries (johanes berries, don't have them back home) which were hand picked from the tree and yogurt. They gobbled it up! A homework morning. Finding gabi is struggling with her journal but she's so concerned about her homework! Gorgeous drive through Swiss and Austrian mountains to Germany. Jaz couldn't believe we went through a whole country (Austria) to get to Germany and that we could see the Italian mountains from Austria. Arrived at eva's after a fabulous appfel strudel afternoon tea in a cute town. I was SO excited to see them that tears started rolling as they welcomed us....

Another day catching gondler to the top and walking down. Great thing about this part of Switzerland over Grindelwald is there's so few people around. Came across pretty streams and lots of rocks with crystal.. Gabi wanted to take home a massive one and a few others. We had to put our foot down! One small rock was the limit. For the evening we kicked back with some local fair down the road, snitzels and chips and if course a german weissbier.

Beautiful day in the St Moritz mountains. Gorgeous walk to a little playground followed by lots of chasing and laughing . Lunch in posh St Moritz... A picnic would have been the go, however, sometimes tricky to organize with so many and me not leading the day. Swiss zuos is so different to grindelwald! Little houses have pretty graffiti rather than the typical shutters and boxed flowers on sills. Bit of rain on our first day and we feel very lucky to be under cover in the luxurious ski chalet near St Moritz with Damo and Julia. The kids all got on famously.
