Big sleep in at our lovely saint germaine apartment after beautiful but late night at the Eiffel tower. Decided to be cultural and hit musee d'orsay. Man! The queue and the cold! We weren't quite prepared after the warm sun yesterday. Fortunately girls were on great form (even if in tiny shorts and freezing) and we struck luck and were ushered ahead because of our many kids. Phew. We all enjoyed it and had a great chat about the impressionists, and why they are so famous. As Bettsy was explaining to J and G how expensive they were, G asked 'but how can some people have $ and others don't, doesn't the tooth-fairy give everyone he same $'?? We all burst out laughing... We had a great cafe lunch of omletes and even tired Lana held it together. She crashes in the baxkpack as soon as we left. The Parisians have all been really lovely, helps that I can speak some French and Lana is so cute! Bettsy and I had a date that night, girls cared for by sweet Lorraine.
