Today we are in the Cameron highlands, we travelled over four hours consisting of mostly bends through the rainforest to get here.
The hotel is great a little guest house, so cute and you even have to take your shoes off to get up stairs! We are here for two nights, last night and tonight.
We booked on to an organised your yesterday, ready for today! The tour was great and we had a very enthusiastic tour guide called Appu!!
Appu arrived to collect dan and I, and 7 others from our trip at 8.45.
Our first stop off was the highest point in the cameron highlands, we were lucky to take photos and then venture into the Mossy rainforest with Appu! My white converse trainers are no longer white!! However it was well worth it and we were able to see a variety of plants including those that are highly poisonous!
Second stop the tea plantation! You will see in the photographs that these go for miles, and look absolutely fantastic!!! We then visited a tea factory where we were able to see the process that it takes to get into our bone china mugs!! It tasted lush, espically with the scone it was consumed with!!
Later we went to a butterfly farm, it was stunning! My favourite butterfly was by far the Rojah Brooke, these are the blue and black ones in my photos!
We explored a strawberry farm, and was able to taste the beautiful home grown products including milkshakes!!
A day outside followed by a quick stop off at the museum, where I learnt that one pencil can draw a line 35.000 miles long!! I was amazed! We also learnt how to fish with traditional tools, bear grills style!
The day was finished with a beautiful Chinese meal and a walk to Jungle Bar, where we had a drink and sat around the big open fire chatting with new friends!
