This was the sight of a horror show. Early on in the Nazis plan to first force Jews to leave and then ultimately to kill them, they pulled up in front of this school, took all the girls and teachers out, shot the ones who wouldn't be able to work, and took the rest to concentration camps. Note the cameras on the building. All historical Jewish owned or operated buildings have heavy security including actual police because there is still a significant anti-Semitic presence in Germany.
