After a 25hour bus journey I finally arrived in Foz do Iguazu (Iguazu Falls) Brazil. One of the new seven wonders of nature, Iguazu Falls lies on the border of Brazil and Argentina and is also very close to the Paraguayan border.
This place is absolutely breathtaking! The gushing noise of the waterfalls can be heard for miles.
On the first day I went to see the waterfalls from the Brazilian side. The views were out of this world! I went down 'The Devil's Throat', a walkway right in front of the Iguazu Falls. I was so close to the waterfalls, my fur was dripping wet for the rest of the day. I saw what looked like the rainbows end right in front of the waterfall. Unfortunately I didn't find the pot of gold at the end of it, although I still have my paws crossed that I will win the Lotto at some point during my travels!
On the second day I crossed over the Brazilian/Argentinian border to see The Waterfalls from the Argentina side. I spent the whole day on this side of the waterfalls. I got a boat trip in under the waterfall. This felt unbelievable. The spray from the waterfall was very refreshing, a really great feeling.
Now I have arrived in Argentina there are a few changes for me to get used to. The local language has changed from Portuguese in Brazil to Spanish in Argentina. The currency has also changed from the 'Brazilian Reais' to 'Argentinian Pesos'. I am looking forward to my time in Argentina. I will catch up with you all again soon!
